17 recitals in peñaflamenco dancers from all over the province to celebrate the VII Day of the Flamenco in the province of Cádiz.
The initiative organized by the Provincial Foundation of Culture of the Provincial Council and the Federation of PeñaFlamencos of the Province of Cádiz, will take place on September 26 and 27, 2025.
The Day of the Flamenco In the province of Cadiz it is celebrated again for the seventh year thanks to the alliance of the Provincial Foundation of Culture of the Provincial Council of Cadiz and the Federation of PeñaFlamenco singers from the Province of Cadiz. The event will feature a total of seventeen recitals that will take place in peñathroughout the Cadiz territory during the 26th and 27th of September.
The celebration of the Day of Flamenco in the province of Cádiz is part of the collaboration agreement that both entities have signed for years. This represents a firm and decisive commitment for the Provincial Council to safeguard and promote the flamenco in all its manifestations, as an essential element of our rich cultural heritage and a hallmark of our towns, as well as a tourism and economic engine for our province.
The Federation continues to play its leading role in organizing these activities, as it has a presence throughout the province. This particular activity not only serves to promote the flamenco, but also aims to consolidate our commitment to the professional network of artists flamencos, singers or dancers from our province.
The peñaFlamenco artists are the melting pot of synergies of all lovers, connoisseurs, creators and even mere spectators of the flamenco. They bring together individuals and fans, club members and artists, public and private entities, in short, any lover of flamenco who wants to make their contribution to the study, defense or dissemination of this art.
This activity, now in its seventh year, aims to strengthen its position as a cultural tourist attraction in our province. 17 recitals in 17 peñas Flamencas and 13 municipalities (Algeciras, Jerez de la Frontera, Chipiona, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Alcalá del Valle, Guadalcacin, La Línea de la Concepción, Arcos de la Frontera, San Fernando, El Puerto de Santa María, Barbate and Chiclana).
