Our guest is Doctor of Arts and Humanities from the University of CádizHe is also a contributor to this publication. He was born in San Diego (USA) and his love for the flamenco He took him to Andalusia to experience the mysteries of art firsthand. jondoHe also belongs to the research group 'Contemporary Studies of Spanish Literature', a teaching vocation that led him to become interested in the literary body of styles flamencos.

Hence the book that he came to present to us, which is entitled 'Writers and the flamenco: the anti-Franco struggle (1967-1978)', Published by the UCA Publications Service in 2025. A rigorous investigation, in a turbulent period, during which writers, lyricists and flamenco singers reflected in the flamenco their most rebellious concerns.
