THE BAREFOOT PRINCESS "HEAVEN AND EARTH"

Synopsis: As above, so below; as below, so above. Thus begins the performance with this cryptic text found on the Emerald Tablets, attributed to Hermes Trismegistus. It expresses the connection between the macrocosm (universe) and the microcosm (humankind), describing creation, the unity of all things. Throughout the performance, the seven fundamental Hermetic principles will be revealed: 1. Mentalism, 2. Correspondence, 3. Vibration, 4. Polarity, 5. Rhythm, 6. Cause and Effect, and 7. The Principle of Generation. The performance is divided into two parts: Heaven, Spirit; and Earth, the Carnal. Through Bach, Albinoni, and the classical composers, we will journey to the spiritual realm, to Heaven, traversing the transition to the earthly realm with works born from real experiences, such as heartbreak, as exemplified by the Bolero "Qué Darias," Sevillanas, Pretty Woman, and others, while simultaneously discovering the life and human experiences of the artist.
