While the success of Manuel Valencia's intimate recital is still resonating, we can now announce the date of the next live performance at our venue. Expoflamenco Jerez will host the Tamiz concert by guitarist Alejandro Hurtado. The event will take place both in person and via live stream on Thursday, November 23rd at 20 pm. Tickets are selling fast.

EXPOFLAMENCO This charitable initiative benefits the Jerez Cancer Association and Caritas Diocesana. Organized by one of Jerez's most beloved Zambomba groups, the initiative aims to raise funds for the fight against cancer and poverty, helping so many families who cannot feed their loved ones. SONS OF THE COMPAS, 21ST CENTURY

The cast was made up of eleven young people between 16 and 21 years old, heirs of the flamenco heritage of important lineages of Jerez de la Frontera, a handful of kids who make up part of the canteThey hail from the Santiago and San Miguel neighborhoods. Their surnames include Rubichi, Agujetas, Morao, Soto, Valencia, Remendao, Montoya, Junquera, Pantoja, Jiménez, or they belong to the Los Pipa family. And they are destined for the future of Jerez in the 21st century, forging their deep-rooted personalities through time and care.
MIJITA, SOUTH OF FREEDOM

South of Freedom is the title of José Carpio Fernández's new album.MijitaIn this project, which is also being staged, the Jerez-born flamenco singer revisits his life story through the sound experiences of his childhood, many of which took place in his own home in the working-class neighborhood of Federico Mayo. This extension of the La Plazuela district, in the south of the city, has been the space where José heard what he can now express through his own voice.
