ADVANCE.- Since our beginnings as a physical headquarters in Jerez, we have always made a great effort to respond to the celebration of the great international event with dance flamenco and Spanish dance. They are designed as a complement to the official courses, in addition to the coverage that our fellow critics will provide of all the shows in the program at each of the different performance venues of the Jerez Festival.

A didactic way to delve into the secrets of two of the canteThey are festive by nature, one corresponding to the duple meter, as in tangos, and the amalgamated meter of the quintessential festive style, bulerás. Performed by José Anillo from Cadiz, an experienced professional of cante.
12.30 a 14.00 Hora. Masterclass on bata de cola with flamenco dancer Ángeles Gabaldón (Two days duration)
Ángeles Gabaldón is one of the great current exponents of the Sevillian school of dance flamencoAlong with her interpretive quality, she has highlighted the use of accessories that were added to the dance throughout its history, such as the shawl, the hat, the castanets and, especially, the bata de cola (flamenco dress with a train) and its handling in different styles. flamencos

The content of this creative workshop, open to all levels, is based on the presentation 'Laban Movement Analysis Applied to Lola Flores' Dance for Dance Didactics', presented at the Lola Flores Congress organized by the University of Cádiz, where it was awarded the prestigious Williams & Humbert Prize. An audiovisual tour of the great milestones of this dance genre: the origins, the stick dances, the beginning of the flamenco in academies and theatres, the cafés cantantes, the variety shows, the avant-garde, the tablaos, the festivals… And for the great characters of this story: La Cuenca, Carmen Dauset, La Macarrona, Pastora With films, many of them unreleased, that we have rescued from the archives and/or restored.

12,30 a 14,00 Hora. Masterclass on accompanying the dance to soleá by the guitarist Ñoño Santiago. Guest artist at the dance: Ines Rubio.
This class focuses on accompanying soleá dance, exploring in depth its structure, calls, closings, flourishes, and the real dialogue between guitar and dance. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, resolve doubts, and understand the concept of accompaniment from a practical and musical perspective. The class will feature flamenco dancer Inés Rubio as a guest artist, providing hands-on practice of dance accompaniment with concrete examples and real-life stage scenarios. Note: Participation in both of Ñoño's courses is offered at a reduced price.

The aim of this workshop is to introduce participants to the language of bulerías for "Fiesta por Bulerías" (Bulería Party), from an intuitive and simple perspective. It provides a solid foundation and confidence when dancing. By the end of the workshop, participants will have acquired the basic skills to improvise and understand the main codes of bulerías. Finally, we put everything learned into practice with live musicians.

It is a workshop for creating flamenco lyrics in any language of the world, developing new original lyrics and learning how to fit them into the musical structures of various cantes flamencos: Tangos, Campanilleros, Sevillanas Corraleras and Tanguillos de Cádiz.
This workshop is based on Puela Lunaris' experience as a lyricist, arranger, and music producer of her album Duende Flamenco with lyrics in English and Spanish and international digital distribution. Just as hip-hop and jazz are now sung in many languages, the international flamenco community also feels the need to express itself in its native tongues. Therefore, this workshop fills an important gap in the internationalization of flamenco. flamenco.

A simple choreography is designed to be easily learned and quickly memorized by the student. Special attention is given to memorizing the rhythm and order of each element of the choreography to ensure greater confidence in each step.
