ADVANCE.- Since our beginnings as a physical headquarters in Jerez, we have always made a great effort to respond to the celebration of the great international event with dance flamenco and Spanish dance. They are designed as a complement to the official courses, in addition to the coverage that our fellow critics will provide of all the shows in the program at each of the different performance venues of the Jerez Festival.

Here a progress in chronological order of a schedule with all the courses we have prepared for the two weeks of the event in the final stretch of February and the first of March 2026, with their corresponding times:

Saturday February 21

11.00 a 12.30 Hora. Masterclass of cante through Tangos and Bulerías with José Anillo. (Two days duration).

A didactic way to delve into the secrets of two of the canteThey are festive by nature, one corresponding to the duple meter, as in tangos, and the amalgamated meter of the quintessential festive style, bulerás. Performed by José Anillo from Cadiz, an experienced professional of cante.

12.30 a 14.00 Hora. Masterclass on bata de cola with flamenco dancer Ángeles Gabaldón (Two days duration)

Ángeles Gabaldón is one of the great current exponents of the Sevillian school of dance flamencoAlong with her interpretive quality, she has highlighted the use of accessories that were added to the dance throughout its history, such as the shawl, the hat, the castanets and, especially, the bata de cola (flamenco dress with a train) and its handling in different styles. flamencos

17,00 a 18,30 Hora. Dance Workshop by Zambra (5 days long, from February 21st to 25th, in-person and online options available) in charge of Puela Lunaris

The content of this creative workshop, open to all levels, is based on the presentation 'Laban Movement Analysis Applied to Lola Flores' Dance for Dance Didactics', presented at the Lola Flores Congress organized by the University of Cádiz, where it was awarded the prestigious Williams & Humbert Prize. An audiovisual tour of the great milestones of this dance genre: the origins, the stick dances, the beginning of the flamenco in academies and theatres, the cafés cantantes, the variety shows, the avant-garde, the tablaos, the festivals… And for the great characters of this story: La Cuenca, Carmen Dauset, La Macarrona, Pastora With films, many of them unreleased, that we have rescued from the archives and/or restored.

Considered by all to be one of the masters of accompaniment guitar today and sought after by the best performers of canteRafael Rodríguez doesn't usually offer these kinds of courses. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the most reputable sources of guitar wisdom. Moreover, he always incorporates his own unique style, making him a truly distinctive artist.

19,00 hours long. 'A Spectacular Show of Japan and Jerez'. With the cante Kyoko Endo, Mao Kitagishi guitar and Yuka Hayashi and Kotoha Setoguchi dancing. 10 euros entry, very limited places.

A performance specially dedicated to the Japanese fans who visit the Jerez Festival each year with reverence. This Japanese group will delight the audience with their respectful approach to flamenco culture.

10:00 to 12:00 hours Course History of Dance flamenco by Juan Vergillos (2nd session)

12,30 a 14,00 Hora. Masterclass on accompanying the dance to soleá by the guitarist Ñoño Santiago. Guest artist at the dance: Ines Rubio.

This class focuses on accompanying soleá dance, exploring in depth its structure, calls, closings, flourishes, and the real dialogue between guitar and dance. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, resolve doubts, and understand the concept of accompaniment from a practical and musical perspective. The class will feature flamenco dancer Inés Rubio as a guest artist, providing hands-on practice of dance accompaniment with concrete examples and real-life stage scenarios. Note: Participation in both of Ñoño's courses is offered at a reduced price.

12,30 to 14,00 hours Masterclass accompanying the cante by Ñoño Santiago. Working on the styles requested by the students, for example soleá, siguiriyas, tientos, fandangos, and bulerías. Ñoño will explain listening, the entrance, the waiting, the tones, and how to support the singer from the guitar, respecting the cante and his breathing. Note: Participation in both of Ñoño's courses has a reduced price.

12,00 a 14,00 Hora. Masterclass of Bulerías de Jerez dance – End of Party with Patricia Manes.

The aim of this workshop is to introduce participants to the language of bulerías for "Fiesta por Bulerías" (Bulería Party), from an intuitive and simple perspective. It provides a solid foundation and confidence when dancing. By the end of the workshop, participants will have acquired the basic skills to improvise and understand the main codes of bulerías. Finally, we put everything learned into practice with live musicians.

On Andalusia Day we will have a special episode of El Duendecillo y el profe with Álvaro de la Fuente Espejo

10,00 a 12,00 Hora. Bulerías de Jerez dance masterclass – Closing Party with Patricia Manes (2nd session)

12,00 hours. Workshop/conference with training and teaching materials on "The Little Elf and The Teacher" de Expoflamenco From Professor and colleague Álvaro de la Fuente Espejo. An activity for all audiences.

17,00 to 18,30 hours Flamenco Lyrics Creation Workshop (in any language, 5 days duration, in-person and online options) by Puela Lunaris.

It is a workshop for creating flamenco lyrics in any language of the world, developing new original lyrics and learning how to fit them into the musical structures of various cantes flamencos: Tangos, Campanilleros, Sevillanas Corraleras and Tanguillos de Cádiz.

This workshop is based on Puela Lunaris' experience as a lyricist, arranger, and music producer of her album Duende Flamenco with lyrics in English and Spanish and international digital distribution. Just as hip-hop and jazz are now sung in many languages, the international flamenco community also feels the need to express itself in its native tongues. Therefore, this workshop fills an important gap in the internationalization of flamenco. flamenco.

Dance Masterclass flamenco Focused on rhythm, structure, and expression in bulerías, following the Jerez tradition, Esther Estefanía Aranda offers a learning space where technique always serves meaning, listening, and the truth of the gesture. It is not about a rigid choreography, but about understanding the codes for dancing with freedom and connection to one's roots.

Show flamenco in an intimate format, where Esther Estefanía Aranda's dance engages in direct dialogue with the cante of Momo Moneo and Fran Lavi. A simple choreography is designed to be easily learned and quickly memorized by the student. Special attention is given to memorizing the rhythm and order of each element of the choreography to ensure greater confidence in each step.
