Following the successful run of Roksaneh E. Fotovat's exhibition, featuring her work dedicated to women and art, 'Focus on: Body, Voice, Woman', our multipurpose room will host a new collection of flamenco photographs. La official opening, to which the whole family of expoflamencos of the world, this invitation will take place next Friday, May 29th, at 8:00 p.m. The artist himself, Diego Gallardo, will be present at the opening of an exhibition that will remain open to the public during business hours for the next few months at Espacio Expoflamencio. Attendance at the opening is free and open to the public, subject to capacity. A celebratory sherry reception will follow.

The graphic artist Diego Gallardo López from Campanario (Badajoz) has compiled in his book 'Flamencuras, light and truth' Over 15 years of flamenco-themed photographs. A publication that not only captures moments of flamenco spirit; it also serves as an educational tool due to its connections with the teaching profession.
With a pilot plant own language and styleIt invites us to look at things differently and to be able to engage in dialogue with it. flamenco on topics as current as pain, suffering, power, emotions, joy, meditation or reality.
As the author himself acknowledges, 'the work I present to you is a story in the form of an image, primarily digital and to a lesser extent analog, the result of contemplation andand experiences around fifteen years of flamenco and photographyIts pages include a special section on the García Lorca Room at Casa Patas; a meeting place and reference point for artists and fans during its existence, between 2013 and the beginning of 2020, coinciding with the pandemic.
After exhibiting his photographs, giving talks, and working for the Cervantes Institute in places like Belgrade, Fez, Rabat, Rio de Janeiro, Lima, Lisbon, Bilbao, Madrid, Seville, Burgos, and Badajoz, he has now decided to shed light on his experiences, reflections, and part of his extensive archive in a book that will be available in our store. A feast for the senses, the art of photography at its most sublime.
