Our guest has reached an artistic stage that has called him to step forward and take center stage with his guitar. Following his successful run with the duo Navajita Plateá, he has been forging a personal and intimate path that has culminated in this album. 'Sarmiento' (Air Music Spain, 2026). An album that blends touches reminiscent of Santiago with the harmonies of a 21st-century performer, ready to explore new musical horizons. However, he never loses sight of his roots; specifically, the union of two of the most vibrant traditions of the Lower Andalusian Gypsy culture: The Carrasco and the Soto families.
There are guitar solos but also extraordinary collaborations. 'What I really like is accompanying the cantemore than anything else', he says work carrasco in this interview. Thus, the work features Sorderita, Diego Amador, La Fabi, Juañares, Zambullo, and Lucas Vargas, among others. The album 'Sarmiento' will be presented in grand style at 'Curro Carrasco's Big Party'An exclusive, limited-time event coming soon June 26th at the Cloisters of Santo Domingo in Jerez, at 9:30 pm.
