La International Flamenco Fashion Week (SIMOF), the event par excellence of the sector, co-organized by the Seville Exhibition and Congress Palace (FIBES) and the Doble Erre Fashion and Communication Agency will celebrate its 30 years revolutionizing and supporting the flamenco fashion industry from Thursday, January 30 to Sunday, February 2.
In this very special edition, the Sevillian actress Paz Vega, maid of honor, and Pastora Soler, honorary ambassador of SIMOF 2025, who is also celebrating 30 years of career in music, will be in charge of inaugurating this important event with flamenco fashion.
This is one of the new features that were presented on Monday, January 20, at the press conference held in Only YOU Hotel Sevilla, official accommodation of SIMOF 2025. The event was attended by the second deputy mayor of the Seville City Council, Alvaro Pimentel, the Secretary General of Business and Self-Employment, Adolfina Martinez Guirado, the Director General of Commerce, Cecilia Ortiz Carrasco, the managing director of Seville City Office, Antonio Castano, and the CEO of the Doble Erre Fashion and Communication Agency, Rachel Revolt, as well as designers and sponsors of the event.

Over these thirty years we have witnessed the revolution of a sector that has gone from being underground to a source of inspiration for designers from all over the world. We want to pay tribute to the commitment and support of all those who have been part of this great family, working tirelessly to consolidate SIMOF as an international benchmark. We are particularly excited to have you here to share this important milestone and celebrate together these 30 years of flamenco fashion as a paradigm of southern culture,” explained Raquel Revuelta.

Models and influencers
The model María José Suárez, the designer Jose Perea and the influencers Margarita de Guzman, Claudia Ula Jimenez Revuelta and Javier Hierro will be the official reporters of SIMOF 2025. They will not be the only well-known faces who will be seen at this great event. They will be joined by the ambassadors of SIMOF 2025, the members of the jury of the traditional Young Designers Competition and other VIP guests such as the singer Rosario Mohedano, the model and businesswoman Stephanie Luyck, the singer Archangel, the writer, designer, businesswoman and producer Fiona Ferrer, the designer and stylist Josie, the model Ana Moya, the presenter Arantxa de Benito and the pulmonologist Mari Ángeles Grajal.
The Italian model and presenter Antonia Dell'Atte, the singer-songwriter Jose Manuel Soto, The designer Elena Benarroch, the influencer Gloria Camilla and the singer Manu Tenorio will be the other ambassadors of SIMOF 2025.
1.625 outfits in 47 shows
For four days, nearly a hundred emerging and established designers will present their proposals and the latest trends in the most versatile and inspiring regional costume in the world, the only one subject to trends. They will do so on the most prestigious flamenco fashion catwalk in the country. From Thursday to Sunday, 1.625 costumes will be exhibited in a total of 47 shows distributed in two spaces, plus the Start Lunar Program Organized with the Cajasol Foundation and the Young Designers Competition.
The SIMOF 2025 designer catwalk will once again be located in Pavilion 1 of FIBES and will feature important new features. It will be 24 metres long with a high-gloss black melamine platform. SIMOF 2025 returns to the format of previous editions: a central 5x9 m high-resolution screen that will include an opening 1.8 m wide (horizontal) and 2.70 m high. This will allow for shadow and backlighting to illuminate the catwalk in different colours.
Another new feature of this edition is that the public will access the shows from the commercial area, located in Hall 2, through a 4-metre tunnel that will connect with the space for professionals. The show area will have a capacity for 1.000 people distributed in stands and will have an extended backstage for the greater comfort of models, stylists, make-up artists, hairdressers, wardrobe managers, dressing rooms, etc.

This year, Almería is participating for the first time, which was the only Andalusian province that had not been at SIMOF in these thirty years of history. And to complete this circle, we will receive during the event the visit of the Chicago Chamber of Commerce with the aim of planning synergies between Spanish fashion and the organization of the event. SIMOF Dances
SIMOF Baila will be held during the SIMOF weekend (February 1 and 2) at the Al-Ándalus Auditorium, located on the ground floor of FIBES 1. The space, directed by the artistic director Alvaro Mendez, celebrates its eighth edition and will host thirteen very diverse and colorful dance shows from all over Andalusia. The public will be able to enjoy dance, flamenco, modern and urban. The selected schools, the canteSIMOF's ra dances for years to come, they come from Cordoba, Granada, Andujar, Puente Genil, Seville, Moron de la Frontera, Almeria and Melilla. Tickets for SIMOF BAILA will be sold directly at the Al-Ándalus auditorium box office.
Shopping area. Designers space
With ten thousand square metres of exhibition space on a single level, it will feature more than one hundred exhibitors dedicated to Andalusian crafts, fashion and culture. Another new feature is that the commercial area will have, for the first time, a space for designers sponsored by Iryo, SIMOF's official transport, where, in addition to exhibiting some designs from their new collection, they will be able to hold work meetings.
