The XXXIV Festival poster is presented Flamenco of the Yerbabuena

Rincón Malillo hosts the flamenco evening on Wednesday, May 21, with Mari Peña al canteThis edition is dedicated to Miguel Acal, who will be posthumously awarded the Yerbabuena de Plata distinction.

The emblematic space Malillo Corner, in the Sevillian municipality of The Heads of San Juan, where personalities such as the flamenco dancer Pepa Montes and the painter Paco Cotto were born, will host the presentation of the poster for the festival on Wednesday 21 May – 20,30:XNUMX pm, free admission XXXIV Festival Flamenco of the YerbabuenaThis edition is dedicated to the legendary journalist and critic flamenco Miguel Acal Jimenez, who will be awarded the festival's highest distinction, the Yerbabuena de Plata. Born in Granada and raised in Bormujos, Acal passed away in 2002 at just 57 years old. He stood out for his cultural work since the mid-70s, working in media such as Radiocadena España and the newspaper ABC of Seville. Your program With Andalusian flavour, issued in The Voice of the Guadalquivir, became a reference for lovers of flamenco.

The presentation of the poster will be the first step in the journey of this great festival and will be staged in a flamenco evening that will feature the performance of the singer Mari Peña, with Antonio Moya to the guitar and Jose Carrasco y Antonio Carrasco at palmas.
