The image went viral: Pedro Almodóvar, an icon of Spanish cinema and culture, knelt last November before Rocío Molina at the premiere of Heating, his latest show, in the Matadero Dance Center From Madrid. On the night of Monday, May 18, the entire performing arts world bowed down to the woman from Malaga at the awards ceremony. Talia Awards –organized by the Academy of Performing Arts of Spain–, where she won everything: Best Female Performer, Best Choreography and Best Dance Performance.
An impressive list of accolades that underscores the trajectory of this production, currently touring the world, in a gala directed by Juan Luis Iborra and presented by the magician Jorge Blass and actress carmen conesa, in which a flamenco dancer also shone flamenco, Israel Galvan, in the Best Male Performer category for his work in The goldBoth were applauded by an audience that included stars such as actress María Galiana, recipient of the Talía de Honor award, Antonio Banderas, Irene Escolar, Nathalie Poza, Lluís Homar, Petra Martínez, Luis Merlo and many other stars of the stage.

Remember that Heating It features the collaboration of the playwright Paul Messiez, the artist's musical direction Elche Niño and collaboration cabosanroque to develop a whole discourse around the pressure to keep creating, loneliness, pain, and festive joy.
After winning the National Dance Award and the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale, among many other accolades, the Malaga native continues to explore new territories without abandoning her flamenco roots, but always putting expressive freedom above all else.
