The Sevillian town of Paradas celebrates from April 12 to 18 the XXXVI Flamenco Cultural Activities Week, an event organized by the Peña Cultural Flamenca Miguel Vargas which has already reached more than three decades of history, establishing itself as one of the benchmark events on the calendar flamenco provincial. The programming, presented on March 13th at the Space Expoflamenco from JerezIt will once again bring together fans and artists for a week of recitals, lectures and parallel activities.

The 36th edition is dedicated to the writer, poet and flamenco scholar José María Velázquez-Gaztelu, a key figure in the dissemination and study of art jondowhose trajectory will be the subject of various activities throughout the week. Regarding access, All scheduled activities are free of charge, except for the closing ceremony on Saturday, April 18., whose entrance fee will be 10 euros for non-members, thus maintaining the accessible character that has historically defined this event organized by the Peña Miguel Vargas.
