La Peña Flamenca Old Agujetas de Rota has just held an extraordinary general meeting with the sole purpose of renewing its board of directors, which represents a generational change following the voluntary resignation of Antonio Bergalo, who in recent years has held the position of president and vice president as well as treasurer of the entity.
A transfer considered as a turning point for the partners of this peña fiftieth anniversary, since the incorporation of new members, mostly young, is added to the inclusion of partners who were already part of previous boards, or the permanence of others who will continue to be, as is the case of its president, Antonio Mateos.
Among the objectives proposed for this new stage are to recover and focus on the documents, archives and audiovisual documents it has, improve internal and external communication, increase the participation of partners in decision-making, find new sources of financing, recover the Saturday flamenco gathering, and redesign the corporate image.

Finally, the new board of directors intends to present the recital program with a more extended schedule, rather than on a month-by-month basis as has been the case up until now, offering the following lineup of artists and performances for the coming months.
