The event, co-organized by the Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) and the Doble Erre Fashion and Communication Agency, also featured the actress Rossy de Palma as godmother of this edition.

This is the third time that HRH Infanta Elena has attended SIMOF, following her participation in the opening of SIMOF 2024 in Seville as honorary godmother and in the first edition of SIMOF Madrid in 2022, where she received the Award Flamenco In the Skin. In addition, her daughter, Victoria Federica de Marichalar y Borbón, attended SIMOF Sevilla 2022.

Until Sunday, February 1st, 52 fashion shows and 1.550 outfits from nearly 120 brands, including professional designers and young talents, will be on display under the motto #SIMOFGeneration: a bridge between flamenco heritage and the future of fashion, a space where those who safeguard tradition and those who come to transform it coexist.

The parades will take place over four days in two spaces: the main stage (Pavilion I), with the participation of 92 signaturesand space Lenovo +FLAMENCA (Pavilion 2), which adds another 20 signatures, with individual, shared and collective proposals that reflect the diversity and current vitality of flamenco fashion.

Following the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, the authorities toured the commercial area.
