The Biennial of Flamenco of Sevilla It presented its 24th edition on Wednesday, April 8th at the Valentini Palace in Rome with the help of the Delegate for Tourism and Culture of the Seville City Council, Angie Moreno, and its director, Luis Ybarra, in what has been the last stop on the international promotional tour that has previously taken the event to the cities of Paris and New York.
This presentation in the "Eternal City," which brings this itinerary to a close, aimed to strengthen cultural ties between Rome and Seville. “The choice of Rome as the venue for the presentation of the Biennale of Flamenco It's not by chance, but strategically. We are in one of the great cultural capitals of Europe, an international meeting point that allows us to project Seville and its Biennial to new audiences and strengthen ties with a key market like Italy. Bringing our biggest cultural event here is a way of building bridges between two cities with a unique heritage and artistic sensibilityand to continue positioning Seville as a world reference in flamenco "and quality cultural tourism," the Councillor for Tourism and Culture pointed out.
For his part, the director of the Biennial, Luis Ybarra, stated that “this public response confirms that the Biennial is experiencing one of its best moments. We have opted for a diverse, top-quality program with unprecedented planning, putting tickets on sale further in advance than ever before, which has allowed us to achieve these results.”
Similarly, Ybarra added that “the Biennial is the space where tradition and innovation coexist, where great figures share the stage with new voices, and where Seville becomes, once again, the world epicenter of flamenco".

The event concluded with a performance by the Sevillian flamenco dancer.
