The Sevillian municipality of Arahal once again becomes a meeting point for art lovers jondo with the celebration of a new cycle flamenco organized by the Peña Flamenco Culture Pastora Pavón 'Girl of the Combs'The program brings together recitals during the month of June by canteguitar and dance, in addition to parallel activities that pay tribute to the history and the protagonists of flamenco.
The program kicks off on June 10 with the show The Interview, a proposal promoted together with the The Unicorn Cultural AssociationFrom there, recitals by prominent artists such as Alejandro Hurtado, Rocío Luna, Manuela Carpio, José Fermín Fernández or Joaquín Grilo.
One of the most emotional moments comes on June 20th with the grand tribute night to Enrique the Extremaduran, one of the most recognized voices of flamenco current, who also receives the award Green I want you green in recognition of his career.
All shows take place at the Arahal Municipal Theatre at 21 pm. The festival concludes with a pre-show concert by Juan Carlos Medinathe book launch One hundred years of flamenco and radio, Ildefonso Vergaraan open-air photography exhibition and visits to Women's Interpretation Center in the Flamenco (CIMFLA).
