The Iranian-Canadian singer Farnaz Ohadi, recognized for its innovative fusion of Persian tradition and flamenco, arrives in Spain with Breath, a unique tour that will cover Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Granada in October 2025.
After having conquered international stages with his musical proposal, Farnaz presents in Spain a show in which he combines the force of cante flamenco with the musicality of Persian poetry, creating an intercultural bridge that leaves no one indifferent.
Through her voice, Farnaz defends freedom of expression, human rights, and especially women's rights in contexts where music and equality still face censorship and repression.
"In each city, Farnaz will feature prestigious guest artists, such as Granada-born dancer and choreographer Manuel Liñán and Barcelona-born dancer Jesús Carmona."
“Breath represents the woman who survives through many difficulties, who is censored, who is silenced… It’s my story, but also that of many Iranian women. It’s a very special show for me because of what it represents and what I try to convey. Getting on stage is an act of resistance and hope, and the flamenco For me, it is the voice of the soul, with its strength and its truth, it allows me to shout what millions of women cannot,” says Farnaz.
Farnaz Ohadi's work has been celebrated by international critics not only for its musical ability, but also for its symbolic meaning, as it seeks to give a voice to those without one. Her show, which combines the flamenco and Persian sounds, conveys a clear message of justice, freedom and gender equality.
In each city, Farnaz will have the collaboration of prestigious guest artists, such as the Granada dancer and choreographer Manuel Linan, a key figure in the evolution of flamenco, challenging conventions and expanding the boundaries of art flamenco, and the dancer Jesus Carmona, recognized for his ability to uniquely merge flamenco tradition with contemporary innovation. Both will join this special fusion, offering audiences a unique show on each stage.
