The cycle begins on June 20th with Archangel and his show Heretic, one of the freest projects of his career. A work in which the flamenco singer takes to the terrain flamenco Songs by authors such as Andrés Calamaro, Leiva or Rozalén, in an exercise of freedom where the root is not abandoned, but expanded.
June 26, Alfonso Losa y Paula Cometre presentan Alter EgoAn intense choreographic dialogue between two of the most prominent figures in contemporary dance. Winner of the Audience and Critics' Awards at the Jerez Festival, the piece explores the body as a territory of tension, reflection, and shared quest.
June 27th arrives Tomatito, one of the great guitars of flamenco contemporary and a key figure in the recent history of the genre.
On July 2th it will be the turn of Jesus Carmona with Beast Dance, one of the most acclaimed works by the Barcelona-born choreographer and dancer. Winner of the National Dance Prize and two Max Awards, Carmona proposes a physical and emotional journey into the most instinctive aspects of movement, accompanied by Manu Masaedo.
On July 3, the cycle hosts Miles Davis Centenary: New Sketches of Spain, with Chano Domínguez, Antonio Serrano and El Negrón TrioA contemporary reinterpretation of the historic Sketches of Spainwhere jazz and flamenco They meet again from a contemporary perspective.
July 4rd arrives Paco de Lucía: Music for Big BandDirected by Alex Conde, which reimagines the maestro's repertoire from an orchestral dimension, expanding his sonic universe.
The July 9, Maria Moreno presents Magnificat, one of the most celebrated proposals of the dance flamenco Winner of the Audience Award at the Jerez Festival, the piece transforms the stage into a shared space where the body and celebration unfold from a contemporary perspective.
On July 10, the cycle pays tribute to Antonio Canales, a key figure of flamenco Modern. National Dance Award winner, his career has marked a way of understanding dance from intensity, character and stage presence.
The July 11, Laura Gallego presents The last folk singer, a show that celebrates the copla as a living heritage, connecting its legacy with new forms of interpretation.
The closure will come on July 12th with El Mundo Flamenco Say hello to Bob Marleya project that brings together Josemi Carmona, Israel Suárez “Piraña”, Álex Conde, Alana Sinkey and Payoh Soul Rebel to build a bridge between flamenco and reggae from their common root.
