The Lower Guadalquivir Rural Development Group, Adelquivir, presented the promotional video on Wednesday, May 27th El Flamenco in the Lower Guadalquivir at an event held at the headquarters of the Andalusian Institute of FlamencoSeville. The initiative focuses on the flamenco as one of the main identity and cultural elements of the Lower Guadalquivir region, reinforcing its projection as a cultural and tourist destination.
The event was attended by the territorial delegate for Tourism, Culture and Sport in Seville, Carmen Ortiz Laynezwho supported this initiative aimed at promoting and disseminating the cultural heritage of the region. Institutional representatives from various municipalities in the area also participated, including the mayor of Las Cabezas de San Juan. José Solano Caballero, accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Tourism and Heritage, Africa Castro Roman; the mayor of El Cuervo de Sevilla, José Manuel Oliva Arellano, along with the councilor Silvestre Pérez Pérez; the mayor of Los Palacios y Villafranca, Juan Manuel Valle Chacón, accompanied by the councilor Juan Manuel Fernández Gallardo; and the Councillor for Culture, Tourism and Historical Heritage of the Utrera City Council, Maria Jose Garcia Arroyo.
Adelquivir was represented by its president, José Ángel Martínez Fernández, and the manager of the entity, Magdalena Tejero Ramoswho highlighted the importance of promoting projects that contribute to strengthening the cultural identity of the Lower Guadalquivir and generating new opportunities for tourism promotion and territorial development.
