The poster for the 57th Meeting has been presented Cante Jondo from La Puebla de Cazalla

Tickets are now on sale for the prestigious flamenco event taking place on July 11th at the Hacienda La Fuenlonguilla in the Moorish town. The lineup includes Mayte Martín, Ezequiel Benítez, Paqui Ríos, Rubito Hijo, and Fuensanta La Moneta.

El Town Hall of La Puebla de Cazalla has announced this Monday, January 26th in the Peña Flamenca Francisco Moreno Galvan the poster of the lvii Meeting of Cante Jondo from La Puebla de Cazalla, one of the longest-running and most prestigious events on the calendar flamenco which this year will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The Moorish municipality will gather in the La Fuenlonguilla Estate to great figures of cante such as Mayte Martín, Ezequiel Benítez, Paqui Ríos and Rubito Hijo, guitarists of the stature of Antonio Carrión, Patrocinio Hijo, José de Pura, Paco León and José Gálvez, and the dance of Fuensanta La Moneta from Granada, in a gala that will be presented by the journalist Sara Arguijo.

Pending the announcement of the rest of the program of parallel activities that will complement the flamenco offerings throughout the week with exhibitions, tours, presentations, round tables, workshops and concerts, the town's Councillor for Culture, Miguel Ángel Martín Bohórquez, has shown his enthusiasm for having, once again, “a top-notch lineup that also allows us to enjoy the richness of flamenco, with all its nuances and colors.” In this sense, at the event, which was also attended by Rubito Hijo and Patrocinio Hijo, Martín Bohórquez highlighted “the Meeting’s capacity to renew itself and integrate different perspectives and interests, becoming a meeting point for lovers of this art and a living space which attracts spectators from all over the world to this municipality every summer, where they experience a complete flamenco experience.”

In gratitude for their dedication and in recognition of their fifty years on stages and at festivals around the world, the 57th Meeting of Cante Jondo He wanted to leave the spotlight of the playing in the hands of Antonio Carrión, master of the accompaniment playing and a regular friend of the event, who will open the night as a solo guitarist.

In turn, the cante It will feature one of the artists who have most influenced the flamenco contemporary and one of the most admired and beloved voices by both the most discerning fans and the general public: Mayte Martín. Recently awarded the prestigious National Award for Cante 2025, awarded by the Chair of FlamencoThe singer, a graduate of the Andalusian Folklore and Studies program in Jerez, will offer a unique recital in La Puebla, sharing 25 years of creative work in which she has showcased a genuine and free style that combines rigor, classicism, and dialogue with other music.

Alongside her, the Jerez native will share the bill. Ezequiel Benítez, One of the most sought-after flamenco singers at the best festivals of the moment. Born in the Santiago neighborhood, this producer and composer has become a leading figure in the flamenco scene. cante A short film that goes straight to the soul, featuring one of the most luminous voices in flamenco. The icing on the cake, before the traditional end of the party, will be provided by the dancer Fuensanta La Moneta, one of the leading representatives of the Granada school, who captivates with her expressive drama, her mastery of rhythm and the variety of registers she handles, updating the most ancestral dance in a personal way.
