The Conference was presented Flamenco and Generation of '27

To mark the centenary of the prestigious Generation of 1927, which in 2027 will carry out a series of activities in Seville related to the anniversary, the flamenco Seville wishes to assert the importance and mutual influence that artists flamencoAnd the members of this golden generation projected themselves to inspire and dignify art flamenco.

With this noble objective, at the headquarters of Antares Chamber Club, under the protection of Seville Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Cultural Association Peña Aires FlamencosA presentation event has taken place for the Conference that will be held on March 5 and 6, 2027 in Seville in various venues related to this artistic and cultural milestone. 

 

"The content of the conference, currently in the design phase and open to proposals and collaborations, will consist of lectures, round tables, flamenco and poetic performances and experiences centered around the flamenco and of the Generation of '27"

The event aims to highlight the presence of flamenco as a substantial part of the multidisciplinary artistic movement that generated the Generation of '27. To this end, it currently has the support and participation of the following entities:

  • Chamber of Commerce Foundation
  • Cultural Association Peña Aires Flamencos
  • Sevilla Stadium
  • Provincial Federation of Seville of Flamenco Entities
  • biennial of Flamenco
  • Pino Montano Farmhouse
  • Casal Autocares
  • Seville Congress and Convention Bureau

The cause is also supported by a long list of artists such as Arcángel, Eduardo Rebollar, Carmen García CamposPresent at the meeting were media outlets, journalists, and researchers from flamenco, in addition to broad support from the associative fabric flamenco.

The logo presented is the work of the Moorish painter Patrick HidalgoFrom this, the poster with the content of speakers and spaces will be derived, of which a preview was offered with names such as Eva Díaz Pérez, Manuel Bernal, José Luis Rodríguez Ojeda, Eduardo Pastorand spaces – headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Cortijo Pino Montano, La Galería de ABC and Teatro Flamenco.

The program for the event, currently in the design phase and open to proposals and collaborations, will consist of lectures, round tables, flamenco and poetic performances and experiences centered around the flamenco and of the Generation of '27. The organizing committee is led by Francisco Trujillo, Eusebio Gallego and Manuel Macías.
