La peña flamenca The Tío José de Paula neighborhood of Santiago in Jerez hosted a tribute on March 19th, the feast day of its patron saint, to the flamenco singer Francisco Carrasco Vargas, who was artistically known as 'Curro el de la Morena'An event with distinctly religious overtones, intended to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the passing of this beloved performer. As a kind of sound chronicle, and with special emphasis on the saeta, I share this space in which I begin with a unpublished document. The soleá, initiated by bulerías to listen to, by Curro de la Morena in a 1996 recital in the former premises of the Santiago-based organization. He was accompanied by Pedro Carrasco 'Niño Jero' on guitar. This recording was provided by fan Pablo Morán.
Next, I propose two arrows from our protagonist. The first is from a previous edition of National Saeta Competition of the peña Good People of Jerez And next, the famous saeta from 'Los lirios encendíos' that the French from Audivis Ethenics recorded for him. Collection of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus of the Arrest.
