We always find a reason to restore links to spaces left on the previous platform. This time, it's a tribute to the sad passing of a great enthusiast of our art, and flamenco guitar in particular. Juan Antonio Muñoz He was born in Villanueva de los Infantes (Ciudad Real) in 1945 and has recently passed away. (Cover photos: Pedro Carabante, from the book Diquelar in the series) Flamenco and University)

His work as an orderly in a Madrid hospital forged a close friendship with Antonio Mairena; the maestro would stay at his house in Vallecas-Entrevías when he went for his cardiology checkups. He published a book about these experiences entitled 'My memories with Antonio Mairena, 50 years of light and magic', which was accompanied by a record of home recordings in which Muñoz accompanied Mairena. In Jerez, he provided some glorious moments playing for the flamenco singer Manuel Moneo Lara, whom I now share again with the whole family of expoflamencos.
