On October 15th we inaugurate a new season of Flamenco Royal, consolidating the Isabel II Ballroom of the Teatro Real as a space of Flamenco unique in Spain, where roots and contemporary creation coexist. The new season is structured around a network of institutions of the flamenco – festivals and peñahistorical – that endorse the artists and reinforce the commitment of Flamenco Real with the preservation and future projection of art jondo.
The 2025/2026 program proposes nine monthly events, with three performances per program, each composed of two headliners, in which dance will always be present, with more dancing, cante or touch, accompanied by the corresponding cast, putting into dialogue dancers, singers and guitarists of reference.
New season in Flamenco Real!
On October 15, 16 and 17 we present the VIII Season of Flamenco Real: legacy and avant-garde in alliance with some of the great institutions of the flamenco.
The Fuensanta Season will be opened by two headliners: La Moneta, dancing, and José Fermín Fernández, playing guitar.
La Moneta represents the living continuity of the flamenco Granada native, and his stage presence is always an affirmation of duende, freedom, and authenticity. José Fermín Fernández won the Bordón Minero award at the International Festival of Cante de las Minas in 2019 and the first prize of the National Art Competition Flamenco from Córdoba in 2016.
A must-see for art lovers flamenco, in the incomparable setting of the Teatro Real's Ballroom.

La Platería, founded in 1949 in Granada by the silversmith Manuel Salamanca, is considered the dean of the peñas of Spain and the world, and has been key in the preservation and promotion of flamenco pure. Born as a meeting space for art lovers jondo, has inspired the creation of numerous peñas inside and outside the country
