The festival Flemish Fortress celebrates its first edition on the days 11 & 12 of July in an enclave of great heritage and landscape value, the El Real de la Jara Castle, a fortress declared a Site of Cultural Interest, from which three twin Andalusian provinces can be seen: Seville, Huelva and Badajoz.
This new festival was born with the purpose of bring the flamenco quality to new audiences and highlight both art jondo like the unique environment that welcomes it.
Organized by the Andalusian company Global Serendipity, with the technical production of Teamtify, and the support of City Council of El Real de la Jara, Fortaleza Flamenca will offer a program that combines great figures of the flamenco current with local talent and emerging artists from the ecosystem flamenco local.
This first edition will feature two days dedicated to art jondoThe first of them, on Thursday 11th, will be led, first of all, by Elena Moreno and Abel López, along with its dance schools flamencoAnd the second, by the singer from Huelva Jesus Corbacho, Winner of the prestigious Miner's Lamp at the International Festival of Cante from the Mines of La Unión 2024.

On Friday the 12th, the evening will begin with the Sevillian Maria Portillo, a young promise of the cante flamencoAfter her, the dancer will perform Antonio Molina The Choro, awarded the 2024 Lorca Prize by the Andalusian Academy of Performing Arts for Best Performer of FlamencoThe artist will present his latest show, On-site.
