Motril reopens its patios to the public cante with Antonio Reyes and Pedro el Granaíno

The 12th edition of the Patios cycle Flamencos proposes two free concerts in emblematic spaces to reconnect art jondo with its popular roots.

Motril recovers the pulse of summer flamenco with a new edition of its Playgrounds Flamencos, a series that each year transforms the squares and corners of this Granada municipality into a stage for the purest art. This year, 2025, it reaches its twelfth edition with two high-profile performances: Antonio Reyes y Pedro the Granaíno They will be in charge of giving voice and soul to the nights of July 11 and 19, respectively.

The first of the recitals will take place on July 11 at the Parque 28 de Febrero, in the popular Calle Ancha, with Antonio Reyes accompanied on the guitar by Nono ReyesThe second, on July 19 in the Plaza de España , will feature the presence of Pedro el Granaíno and the guitar of Antonio Patrocinio SonBoth concerts will begin at 21:30 p.m. and will be free admission, with no reservation required.

The mayor of Motril, Luisa García Chamorro, presented the program together with the Councilor for Culture, Miguel Ángel Muñoz Pino, highlighting the City Council's desire to offer an "open, barrier-free, and high-quality" culture. The event, consolidated as one of the most anticipated events on the Motril cultural calendar, also has the support of the Granada Provincial Council.
