The record label 'La Droguería Music', run by the producer from Ecija, Chemi López, has published the second solo album by the singer Moisés Vargas (Cartaya, 1988). It is entitled 'De la raíz' and contains ten songs. cantes, among which he includes some with his own lyrics. He also recovers several pieces from the repertoire of Antonio Fernández «Fosforito».
The guitar that accompanies him is that of the experienced Antonio Soto, a Malaga guitarist famous for accompanying greats of the cante, such as Agujetas or the aforementioned maestro from Pontanés. He has also contributed a bulería of his own.
Since his first recording, which was made with the same label in 2018, Moisés Vargas has matured in his expression, 'hardening and strengthening his complaint' as stated in the text accompanying the CD.
