"The album, released by the LP label FlamencoHe embraces Utrera with the utmost respect and his unwavering love for art, the cante and the ways of speaking of a unique land for the flamenco»
The recording took place on an unforgettable day, May 14, 2025, in Fetén, a cultural space flamenco a reference point in Utrera. The album, with an original idea and artistic direction by Luis Miguel BaezaIt captures the living essence of this place. Across eleven tracks recorded without an audience, in an intimate and authentic atmosphere, Argentina explores different palos —from rumbas and bulerías with a Bambino flavor to the depth of the soleá or the luminous cantiñas— all under a clear guiding thread: the deep and collective roots that forged the rhythm of Utrera. For this project, the singer surrounded herself with artists deeply linked to the local tradition, such as Pitín Hijo and Javier Ibanez to the guitars, and Gaspar del Cuchara y José de Pitín in the palmas, shouts and choruses, bringing the family energy and the rhythm of the stock.
This release comes after the great success of its first two singles, the explosive rumba Hate me and, especially, the recent and emotional single My Utrera (bulerías and cuplés). With this work, Argentina not only offers an artistic document of enormous value, but also builds a bridge between the memory of flamenco families from Utrera and their international projection.
