This digital presence is articulated in the profile of the Andalusian Institute of Flamenco on Google Arts & Culture, a “unique and specialized space where the flamenco "It is displayed in all its historical and artistic richness," as its director emphasizes, Christopher Ortega“It is the best showcase of flamenco in the world, a milestone of enormous importance for its dissemination and knowledge, as recorded in the Andalusian Law of Flamenco. Coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the declaration of flamenco “As an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, we have significantly expanded the available content with the technical collaboration of Google Arts & Culture,” Ortega points out.

The collaboration between the two entities began in 2014 with the first digital exhibition dedicated to this anniversary, and was expanded in 2016 with a tour of the guitarist's work. Paco de LucíaWith the addition of these new resources, the offering takes a significant leap forward. There will be a total of 15 digital exhibitions accessible to users worldwide, one for each year the UNESCO recognition has been in effect.
