The House of Culture in Utrera hosted the official presentation of XII Tacón Festival FlamencoOne of the most anticipated cultural events on the artistic calendar of this Sevillian municipality. Organized by the cultural association The Compass That Unites Us With the collaboration of the City Council, the event will be held from 22 to the 28 of February of 2026 and will pay tribute to the dance tradition flamenco from Jerez de la Frontera, focusing especially on the artistic wealth of the Santiago and San Miguel neighborhoods, the cradle of great figures in art jondo.
The municipal delegate for Culture, Maria Jose Garcia ArroyoAccompanied by representatives of the organization, she emphasized the value of this edition for its focus on the purity and personality that distinguishes Jerez dance, an essential element of flamenco Andalusian. This festival is located next to the Gypsy stew and Macaroon, as an undisputed reference in the flamenco scene of Utrera, providing diverse programming aimed at fans, professionals and the general public.

The official image for this edition is the work of the painter from Utrera. Rafael Guerrero Garciawhose piece has been praised for capturing the strength and sensitivity of the spirit flamenco which the festival aims to highlight. Among the activities announced are an intensive bulerías dance course taught by the dancer Fernando Jiménez, dance school gatherings and a program of shows that will include performances by leading figures in cante and the Jerez touch.
