La Chair of FlamencoAgustín Gómez's department at the University of Córdoba has announced the jury's decision for the third edition of the Córdoba Art Awards Flamenco University of Cordoba – Caja Rural del SurThe awards, granted according to criteria of equality, merit and ability, distinguish this year leading figures in the various disciplines of art jondo.
In the embodiment Teaching, the award to cante has relapsed into Marina Heredia, while the award for dance went to Rocío MolinaIn the guitar category, the award has been given to Victor Monge 'Serranito'Meanwhile, the awards Scientia distinguish the musicologist Faustino Nunez in research and to National Art Competition Flamenco From Cordoba in dissemination.

The awarding of medals and diplomas will take place on Wednesday, February 11th at 8:00 PM in a solemn ceremony held in the Assembly Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Cordoba, open to the public until full capacity is reached and which will feature a flamenco performance yet to be confirmed.
