Summer in Cadiz has a new accent flamenco with a new edition of Flamencad, the cycle that brings together in the Candelaria bastion from Cádiz to some of the main figures of canteThe music and the dance. The program for this fifth edition runs from July 9 to August 13, with four events dedicated to flamenco in different aspects and formats.
The festival opens on July 9th with Tomatito, accompanied by Little brown boy from Íllora y Kiki Cortinas, plus Jose from Tomato y Joni CortesOne week later, on July 16, it will be the turn of Jesus Mendez y Rancapino Chico.
The show will take place on July 30th. The organizers – the Cádiz City Council, specifically the Municipal Culture Foundation and the Women's Foundation, in collaboration with the Cádiz Provincial Council – present a new edition of Flamencad this summer with the aim of consolidating the festival as one of the major flamenco events of the summer season in Cádiz.
