Following its official premiere with critical and public success at the Jerez Festival, Ezekiel Benitez has presented at a press conference at the headquarters of Andalusian Institute of Flamenco in Seville, his new album, What nobody seesThe director of the IAF participated in the event, Christopher Ortega, Luis Ybarra, director of The Biennial of Flamenco of Sevilla, and the singer himself.
Ortega noted that "when we delve into Ezequiel's album we are filled with canteBut we left reflecting on the spirituality and the intense content of his lyrics,” for which he congratulated him. Luis Ybarra, for his part, agreed with Cristóbal in his admiration for Ezequiel and his home “because I remember your father, Alfredo Benítez, who was also a lyricist and a philosopher of flamencoAnd its essence is in your lyrics, in your way of expressing yourself and referencing. There are few flamenco singers so committed to their own work, with their own lyrics, making cante"Traditional songs, but filtered through your singing style, and that's a real treat."
"Bulería comes from mockery. When I perform a bulería, I become like a little boy; I don't care about showing my belly or my back. What I want is for people to have a good time."

Ezequiel added that "this self-produced album is simply a consequence of who I am and my inner quest to be a better human being every day. Those who listen to the album will find love and life in the lyrics, the blindness of humanity… What I want is for people to make it their own because the cause I speak of is lived by many people." He warmed up with a soleá and then added a touch of fandango and what will surely be a bulerías chorus sung by the fans "so that people can have fun and laugh, because bulería comes from mockery. When I perform a bulería, I become like a little kid again; I don't care if I show my belly or my back. What I want is for people to have a good time." He recommended listening to the album "with headphones on, without prejudice, and letting yourself go, because it's a cult album for conveying life's messages."
The album contains ten palos to palmasguitar and vocals, each of them with a guitarist, and the only vocal collaboration is that of Juanfran CarrascoIt is accompanied by bamberas David of Arahal, in the tentative steps Paco León, The Pearl by fandangos and the Dutch Yuss Wieggers in the soleá. Jose from Tomato does the same for taranta and taranto, Paco Cepero He gets to share in the joys, Silvia's Frames by Granada, Manuel valencia in the siguiriyas and bulerías Nono Jero y Fernando Carrasco placeholder imageIt also features the participation of diego vargas, who lends his voice to the canteThe photography, cover design, and website are also self-produced.
