The Community of Madrid presented the 6th edition of the event on the morning of Tuesday, July 7th. Young Flamenco Suma, a showcase featuring young solo guitarists, the cante and the dance born from 1996 onwards. It will be held as usual in the Sala Verde of Teatros del Canal (Cea Bermúdez,1, from Madrid).
The presentation, held in the Black Room of the Madrid venue, was attended by manuel lakes, Director General of Culture and Creative Industries of the Community of Madrid, together with the artistic director of the festival, Antonio BenamargoAt the end of the speeches, the Madrid-born flamenco singer performed. Eleazar Cerreduela, accompanied on guitar by the also Madrid native Joni Jimenez.
In Benamargo's words, in the life of artists "there are two crucial moments: the beginning of their career in the difficult world of Flamenco and the final years of veteran status. Four galas of bravery, freshness and audacity
The first gala will be held on Thursday, September 24 at 8:30 p.m. in the Sala Verde of Teatros del Canal and will feature three performances, until 10:00 p.m. The Boy Ruven, from Córdoba, will be in charge of opening the festival with his bassoon concert, accompanied on guitar by José 'El Macareno' and the dancer Victor MayolNext up will be the Madrid-born flamenco singer. Laura Reyes, with Antonio Patrocinio to the flamenco guitar. And the flamenco dancer from Malaga will close the gala. Anna Almagrowith the flamenco singers Antonio Campos y José L. The second gala will take place on Friday, September 25th at 8:30 pm, this time with the opening act by the man from Toledo. Jesus of the Star and his guitar in concert. Next up, the flamenco singer from Jerez. Luis Montoya 'Chanquita', with the guitarist Manuel del Salado and with Diego Montoya y Manuel Salado to the rhythm. To conclude the day with the flamenco dancer from Alcalá de Guadaíra (Seville) Yaiza Wheatwith the flamenco singers Miguel Lavi y Moi de Moron, and the guitarist Daniel Mejia 'El Carqui'.

The third gala will take place on Saturday, September 26th at 8:30 pm. This time, the opening act will be a flamenco guitarist from Córdoba. Yolanda Mozos, who will be followed by the Madrid-born flamenco singer Eleazar Correduela, which will be accompanied by the guitarist Joni JimenezFinally, the Madrid native Robert the Moreno will dance to the rhythm of the guitar of David Cerreduela and the percussion of Lucky Losada, along with the singers Antonio Moreno 'El Cancu' y Jose del Calli.
The final gala will be on Sunday, September 27th at 8:00 PM, half an hour earlier, with the guitar at the concert of Alvaro Moreno, who will be followed by the flamenco singer from Cádiz Rancapino Emerald next to the guitarist Antonio Higuero, Naim Real to the beat and Ramón Torres to the cajón. The dancer from Almería will close this VI Young Flamenco Festival Aitana Rousseau, along with the flamenco singers Eleazar Cerreduela and José del Calli, with The Pelico guitarist.
A full program at the Ateneo dedicated to flamenco dancers
Following the Suma Flamenca Joven and until the start of the Suma Flamenca, which takes place from October 13 to November 1 in venues throughout the region, the Flamenco Days will be held at the Ateneo de Madrid under the title Women in the history of Flamenco, CanteDance and Musicwith an exhibition by the photographer Anna PalmaA round table and three presentations in the Ateneo Auditorium, in four days that will close with live performances.
