Twenty-five editions
In this edition, the program revolves around three proposals that approach Lorca's work from a contemporary perspective, maintaining a balance between tradition and experimentation. The lineup brings together renowned companies and artists who offer fresh perspectives on a body of work that continues to be a touchstone of contemporary culture.
Thus, between July 31 and August 15, the performance will take place. The gypsy women sing and dance to Lorca, which emphasizes the transmission of the legacy of the poet from Fuentevaqueros through cante and the dance. The flamenco dancer Manuela Carrasco, National Dance Prize winner, as the main figure of a cast that will feature Pastora Galvan also to dancing, the cante de Aurora Vargas y Hope Fernandez as guest artists and with the collaboration of the actress from Granada Coco Reyes, directed by the choreographer Miguel Angel RojasThey will bring to life on stage the essence of the women who inhabit Lorca's work.
