La International Flamenco Fashion Week SIMOF 2026 The curtain closed on Sunday, February 1st, as the largest international showcase of flamenco fashion. Trends for the April Fair
Regarding the trends that will mark the next April Fair, the following have stood out: opt for stripes and the white in a wide variety of fabrics, from perforated cottons and organdies to laces, as well as their combination with color and the prominence of the pastel tones, such as light blue, pink, violet, and green, always in pure shades. These are joined by the classics reds and blacks, along with a palette of earth tones which includes sand, albero, caldera and browns.
The trend of creating continues exclusive prints for each collection. Thus, at SIMOF, floral, geometric, and striped prints were seen, as well as motifs inspired by tiles or fruit. Polka dots continue to be very popular, both in classic versions and in other scales.

Structured hairstyles are back in style this season, with the rise of finger waves and elaborate updos, which are regaining prominence over more natural looks. SIMOF Awards 2026
Within the framework of SIMOF 2026, the Minister of Employment, Business and Self-Employment, White Dew, handed over the Letter from a Master Craftswoman to the flamenco fashion designer María del Carmen Cruz Solís the embroiderer already María José Sánchez Espinar, the highest recognition awarded by the Regional Government of Andalusia to the artisan sector.
