The Minister of Culture and Sports of the Andalusian Government, Patricia of the Well, has announced the expansion of the programming of Andalusia cycle.flamenco to heritage sites in the eight Andalusian provinces with the incorporation of the Tablao Tour, from the flamenco singer from Huelva ArchangelThus, “this proposal, which combines flamenco and heritage, goes a step further, by allowing this dissemination and promotion program of flamenco It should move beyond the usual major hubs, the theaters that the Ministry of Culture has in Seville, Malaga, and Granada, to reach the rest of the Andalusian capitals, activating spaces with their own identity and bringing the flamenco to new audiences,” Del Pozo noted at the presentation of this tour held at the headquarters of Andalusian Institute of Flamenco.
In this regard, the councilor recalled that this proposal continues the line of combining “tangible and intangible heritage that we began last November with the cycle Flamenco Exposed, a program that proposed eight simultaneous interventions in as many cultural spaces managed by the Ministry of Culture in the eight provinces, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the declaration of Flamenco as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.”
Between March and September of this year, the Ministry of Culture will lead the tour tablao to heritage and cultural sites of high historical value, such as the Alcazaba of Almería (on June 5), the Cordoban archaeological complex of Madinat al-Zahra (June 11), the Coal Corral from Granada (June 28) and the Malaga Museum located in the Customs Palace (May 22).
"The Tablao tour commemorates the tenth anniversary of one of the most unique projects by flamenco singer and composer Arcángel: the album recorded a decade ago in flamenco venues in Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona. Conceived as a tribute to these venues." flamencoIn contrast to traditional methods, this production championed these spaces as fundamental places for the transmission of flamenco»

The tour will also stop in the city of Huelva, with two performances organized in collaboration with the Huelva City Council: one at the City Hall (June 13) and the other at the salt flats (September 26). It will also reach the Pemán House of Cádiz, an emblematic 18th-century building (June 19), and to the courtyard of the headquarters of the Cajasol Foundation in Seville, based in the former Royal Court of Grados (March 19), both organized in collaboration with the cultural institution of the same name.
Thanks to the collaboration with the University of Jaén, Arcángel will also offer a recital in the Plaza de los Pueblos of Las Lagunillas Campus (May 29). “The singer from Huelva is thus moving away from the big stages and the most conventional formats, to get closer to the Andalusian historical heritage of all eras, always with a reduced capacity ideal to reinforce the bond between artists and public,” the councilor reported.
This proposal commemorates the tenth anniversary of one of the most unique projects by flamenco singer and composer Arcángel: the album recorded a decade ago in flamenco venues in Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona. Conceived as a tribute to these venues. flamencoIn contrast to traditional methods, this production championed these spaces as fundamental places for the transmission of flamenco, proposing an artistic experience based on closeness, authenticity and shared listening.
On this special anniversary tour, Arcángel maintains the original spirit of tablao, accompanied by artists with whom he shares a common artistic language: guitarists Francis Gomez y Benito Bernal, Antonio and Manuel Montes Saavedra, Los Mellis, a palmas and choruses, the flamenco dancer Macarena López and the guest artist The Sin.
