From the confluence of deep roots like those of Paco The Light y The Deafness o Uncle Borrico, The Sernita y Earthquake the house of takes the legacy The ZambosAnd they give it the characteristic flavor that slaps with pleasure the ears of the aficionados who bring their cheeks to Jerez. Luis left the fishing trade very late. But blessed be the hour in which he found the courage, because he emerged from the endless revelry in which he had absorbed those unmistakable echoes throughout his life, to the joyful delight of those who know how to distinguish, rescuing in his apple "an old yet renewed tradition." He earned himself the right to the category of master, because he still has much to say and teach. That's what he subtly reminded his colleague. Juan Garrido when he told him in a recent interview that "I sing bulerías as they were sung 70 years ago" and humbly in response to the question of Miguel Navas, who led the presentation meeting with dynamism and friendliness, when asked if he was also part of this intangible heritage of humanity: "I can't say that, the people have to say it."

"A landmark work that impresses, in eight tracks, the flamenco singing heritage of two Jerez lineages that intertwine in the Santiago neighborhood, in the rajá throat of Luis El Zambo's countless experiences."

After its official launch in Madrid last May, Luis El Zambo presented his new album at the Municipal Palace Castillo de Luna from Rota (Cádiz) with the poised and powerful guitar of Domingo Rubichi, the palmas de Louis of Rebeco y Ali of the Tota and the talk with Miguel Navas, in which they talked in a simple and relaxed way about transmission and the soul, the cante From then and now, anecdotes were shared and memories dusted off. You can find almost everything in the video below, in addition to the touch of bulería, soleá, fandangos and bulerías with which he sealed the palate and packaged the evening before an audience that packed the patio, made up of friends, family, fans, artists and curious people who wanted to accompany him here, in his second home, Rota, to witness the birth of a work recorded in three live sessions at different personal and artistic stages of his career and as a prelude to his performance on Saturday, August 9 at the Festival Flamenco Rota Start, where he shares the bill with the singers The Pele y Montse Cortes and the bailaora Maria Tavora and his painting.

This careful recording work sees the light thanks to the musical production of the friend Carlos Martin Ballester, from the Circle of Flamenco Madrid, and executive producer of Alberto Martinez, El Flamenco Live, which compiles several performances by the Jerez singer in the capital of Madrid with the sonantas of Manuel Parrilla , Miguel Salado and Domingo Rubichi, from the years 2015, 2017 and 2023, respectively, in The tables (martinete, debla and toná, bulerías and seguiriyas), La Latina (soleá, taranto and cartagenera, fandangos and bulería por soleá) and the Drama Flamenco Madrid (bulerías), where Luis displays all his naturalness on stage, far from the constraints and coldness of the recording studio. The design bears the signature of John Aguirre, the texts are from José María Velázquez-Gaztelu and the photographs of Claudia ruizWithout a doubt, a landmark work that impresses, in eight tracks, the flamenco singing heritage of two Jerez lineages that intertwine in the Santiago neighborhood, in the rajá throat of Luis El Zambo's countless experiences.
