This institution is a true landmark in Barcelona and It has just celebrated 45 years of happy existenceAlthough it goes by a single name, the truth is that Taller de Musics encompasses many spheres of art, and not only the flamencoAlso jazz, primarily. It was founded in 1979 and there, since then, music has been taught and shared with a very special pedagogy: that of stimulating exchange and facilitating creativity.

To celebrate this birthday of Taller de Musics, we spoke via video conference with one of its founders and driving forces, our friend. Lluís CabreraThe former director of the cultural institution explained to us how it was born and has developed to achieve, among other recognitions, the Medal of Merit in Fine Arts. Many artists flamencoMany renowned artists have shared his philosophy, including Enrique Morente, Cañizares, Mayte Martín, Miguel Poveda, and Rosalía, among many others. From ExpoflamencoMany congratulations to Taller de Musics on these 45 years!
