Therefore, Paquera, Gallardo, and the Morao family were precursors of the modern Flamenco Christmas tradition of Jerez, which should not be entirely confused with the popular zambomba. Here, I share a selection of early examples. records from the early 1960s from the last century and some more recent ones, along with La Macanita, corresponding to volume XIX of the Jerez Christmas series.
