La Cajasol Foundation has presented this Wednesday, April 23 at its headquarters in Seville the programming of the Thursday Flamencos 2025, one of the oldest and most established cycles on the Andalusian cultural scene, which each year places the flamenco at the center of its cultural agenda.
The event included the intervention of the president of the Foundation, Antonio Pulido, the dancer and visual artist Julia Acosta, author of this edition's poster, as well as a representation of the artists that make up the program by Rosario La Tremendita, Francisco Escudero El Perrete, Mercedes de Córdoba and Pedro Sierra.

The dancer Mercedes of Cordoba presents a show that he defines as “an autobiography, a thank you for all that life dedicated to dance, and a compilation of the most significant numbers I have performed throughout the history of my company.”
Finally, the young singer Francisco Escudero El Perrete, after its appearance at the Biennial of Flamenco, arrives on Thursdays Flamencos with “a work in which I capture my life through the cante, the touch and the rhythm, from a very personal way of understanding art,” he explained.

This year's lineup brings together a total of ten shows, which will be held between the months of May and November in the Cajasol Theatre Seville, and which cover the three fundamental disciplines of flamenco: cante, dance and guitar. As usual, the series brings together established artists and emerging voices, in a combination that reflects the plurality, richness and evolution of the flamenco figure.
The programming will start on May 15 with Rosario La Tremendita (Origin), which will be followed by fabi (Fruit and flowers, May 22), Juan Tomás de La Molía and Águeda Saavedra (Interpersonal, May 27), and Concha Vargas and Inés Bacán (Lebrisah, June 12), in the first part of the cycle that stands out for its expressive power and the authenticity of its proposals.
After the summer, the cycle will resume on September 25 with Archangel (Smell of earth), followed by the joint proposal of Andrés Barrios and El Yiyo (Andrés Barrios & El Yiyo, October 2), Miguel Angel Heredia (Heredia, October 9), Mercedes of Cordoba (I dance, therefore I am, October 30), Francisco Escudero El Perrete (cantaor, November 13), and will close with Peter Sierra (Crying flamenco of the guitar, November 20), accompanied by The Tobala as a guest artist.
