The Regional Ministry of Culture, through the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions, and the Pablo de Olavide University will launch a new edition of their joint micro-credential 'Specialist in cultural management' on February 24th. flamenco', a specialized training program that seeks to promote knowledge and dissemination of flamenco through the professionalization of the sector. Registration for this program, organized by the Andalusian Institute of [unclear - possibly "the Andalusian Institute of"] begins today. This title, which seeks to promote knowledge and dissemination of flamenco Through the professionalization of the sector, it offers 75 hours of theoretical training and 10 ECTS credits on the main aspects, keys and knowledge necessary to become a specialist in specific cultural management of flamencoIt will be taught by professionals from each of the branches included in the program, and with it, a complete and in-depth knowledge of the subject will be achieved.
It is primarily aimed at cultural managers and artists of flamenco Students and/or professionals in Business Administration and Management, or similar profiles, with or without experience in the field of flamencoIt is included in the training model known as microcredentials, promoted by the European Union, which is characterized by short, highly specialized courses adapted to students' needs and which facilitate professional retraining. In its two previous editions, it has already trained 50 professionals in the field.
The course is under the executive direction of Cristóbal Ortega, director of the Andalusian Institute of Flamenco and with the academic direction of Norberto Díaz, director of the Chair of Flamenco from the UPO. It will focus its content on the study and analysis of flamenco The course covers cultural industry aspects, including specific management, distribution, financing, production, and marketing of cultural projects, as well as the legal aspects related to this content. The training will conclude with the completion and presentation of a final project by the students, applying the knowledge they have acquired.
This training is organized by the Andalusian Institute of Flamenco and managed by the Pablo de Olavide University Foundation and is part of the collaboration agreement signed between the Pablo de Olavide University and the Ministry of Culture and Sport to support the implementation of training, research, dissemination and knowledge transfer activities and cultural and artistic production and creation in the university field and which includes, among other activities, the University Festival of Flamenco from the UPO.
