Students from the prestigious ESSDM training program will star in the new talent show at the fourteenth edition of the main flamenco fashion trends fair.
Seville, November 26, 2025. We Love FlamencoWe Love Flamenco Fashion Show, the trendsetting event for the promotion and premiumization of flamenco fashion, today celebrated the addition of the Flamentex International Flamenco Fashion Chair in 2026. The fourteen students of this prestigious program at the ESSDM Higher Artistic Education Center will be the stars of the We Love Flamenco Fashion Show, featuring emerging talents. Flamenco, which will take place from January 14 to 21 of next year at the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville.
This strategic alliance marks a milestone in the promotion of emerging talent in flamenco fashion, combining top-quality training with the sector's leading platform for dissemination. The students met today with Laura Sánchez and Javier Villa, founders of We Love. Flamenco, accompanied by Francisco Valderrama, general director of ESSDM, and María Cámara, director of this higher education center.

A project that transcends borders
The Flamentex International Chair of Flamenco Fashion represents ESSDM's flagship project in its strategy to promote higher education in fashion design. Conceived during the pandemic as a response to the sector's paralysis during its most critical moments, this high-level training program applies the principles of designer fashion to flamenco fashion.
For two academic years, the Chair has successfully showcased the rich culture and ingenuity inherent in flamenco fashion on a global scale. Its students' creations have graced the runways of top-tier international venues such as Italy (Perugia and Turin), London, Costa Rica, and the prestigious New York Fashion Week, contributing to the dissemination of Andalusian design, culture, and craftsmanship on the world stage.
Fourteen emerging talents
The promotion that will star in the We Love parade Flamenco 2026 is made up of fourteen emerging designers: Francisco Javier Borjas Miguel, Alba Carmona Almeida, Ana Castells Gómez, Adrián Frayle Barrios, Ricardo Gómez Fraile, Lola Martín Martínez, Adelino Pérez Gutiérrez, Rocío Pérez Solís, Antonio Jesús Piñero González, Lucía Sarhan Delgado, Mercedes Reyes Caparrós, Elvira Pérez de Madrid Jiménez, María Teresa Ortiz Ortega and Paula Sánchez García.
These young creators represent the new generation of designers who merge tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and avant-garde, projecting a new future for the Andalusian textile legacy.
