Exactly 35 years ago, Rosario Ancer and her husband took the first steps to make known the flamenco in the city of Vancouver (Canada), fostering some initial meetings. Year after year, the event grew to become a full-fledged festival. Flamenco visited by leading figures of the genre jondo.
A festival of clear international vocation that 'nourishes the hybrid roots of the flamenco to foster innovation and experimentation, while remaining deeply rooted in tradition.'
