Paths Series with Jose Maria Castaño #129
With this online program from expoflamenco We want to join in the tribute that Juan Villar received on October 16 at the Cervantes Theater in Malaga. To do so, we are going to recover a live performance that corresponds to the I Festival Flamenco Jerez Gran Reserva was held on July 1, 2017 in the bullring of the city of Jerez; an event that was dedicated to Moraíto.
From the singer from Cadiz we highlight tangos and bulerías, in the company of Pedro Carrasco 'Niño Jero'. As a sound welcome, we listen to a soleá belonging to one of his first albums 'El cante Juanito Villar's Deep (Movieplay, 1975) with Paco Cepero's guitar and original vinyl sound from the time.
