Taking advantage of the fact that the guitarist from Madrid's Rastro came to Jerez to participate in a charity gala in favour of cancer research, we invited him to our headquarters to talk about some issues of great interest. Of course, the hottest topic was everything surrounding such a prestigious award as the Bordón Minero, which he won this past summer with all justice. But, the conversation became more extensive when we referred to his lineage of artists, many of them guitarists; to the Caño Roto sound that he represents so well or his taste for accompanying the cante for which he is so sought after by the great figures. To end the interview, we delight in one of the touches that took him to the top of the six strings in the mining lands.
