One of the most important events of the year is the centenary of Pencho Cros (La Unión, 1925 – 2007)To commemorate this essential singer, a double CD has been released. The album includes 33 tracks featuring some of the most prominent singers of the flamenco such as Miguel Poveda, Fosforito, Carmen Linares, and Rocío Márquez, among others. Also included are some recordings of the protagonist, who won the Miner's Lamp three times.

The project has been promoted by the Fundación Cante of the Mines and was coordinated by Manuel Navarro at the request of the Cros family. In this online interview, we learned all the details of the production from the head of the mining institution, as well as the Mayor of La Unión. Joaquin Zapata He emphasized the importance of Pencho Cros as a mining performer and detailed the intricacies of this sound tribute.

The entire contents of the album can be freely and openly accessed on all digital platforms.
