The Auditorium of the Ali Provincial Councilcante (ADDA) dresses up to welcome the big names of the Valencian city flamenco and jazz. A new edition of Fijazz, which under the motto "Root and Wings" presents a varied and complete program, which vindicates artists who seek to break free from these artistic genres.
This festival is celebrated from July 10-20 at the ADDA in Alicante under the direction of Josep Vicent. «There is no one who can program flamenco Jazz like us... From start to finish, they are unique artists, and in the land where we live, they are the best in the world in their style because there are no countries that can present people of this level," emphasizes the director of ADDA, Josep Vicent.
On the other hand, Vicent himself warns that it's not a fusion of genres. "It's not like a hot chocolate, it's different visions that combine, souls that recognize each other." "We didn't want to succumb to the grandiosity of other years, and this year's plan is to turn the auditorium into a jazz club or a tablao." flamenco", continues Josep Vicent.
