The festival Flamenco de la Mistela celebrates its 52nd edition with an excellent lineup and a firm commitment to innovation

The Andalusian Institute of Flamenco hosted the official presentation of the 52nd edition of the Festival Flamenco of the Mistela, which will be held in Los Palacios y Villafranca during the weekends of October 10, 11, 17 and 18, at the Pedro Pérez Fernández Municipal Theater.
Organised jointly by the Town Council of Los Palacios y Villafranca and the Tertulia Cultural Flamenca El Pozo de las Penas, the festival is sponsored by the Culture Department of the Town Council, the Provincial Council of Seville, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport through the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions, and the Andalusian Institute of Flamenco.
A consolidated festival
The presentation ceremony was presided over by the mayor of Los Palacios y Villafranca, Juan Manuel Valle, along with Enrique Duque, president of the cultural gathering El Pozo de las Penas and Cristóbal Ortega, director of the Andalusian Institute of FlamencoAlso in attendance were participating artists, including Jorge Manuel López Ruiz, creator of the official poster, and sculptor Jesús Gavira, creator of the Venencia Flamenca statuette.

The official poster for the 52nd edition, designed by Jorge Manuel López Ruiz, offers a contemporary vision of the flamenco, linked to the local identity of Los Palacios and Villafranca.
