It's been a little over two years since Pedro Montoya Junquera The Chanquita I was awakened by the ear in the Peña Flamenca Torres Macarena from Seville with the hope of a new canonical singer in the lands of Albariza. And today he stands as a promise fulfilled, because not only are better times predicted for him, but he is clearly the future and present of cante. He has demonstrated this by delivering a recital with style in the Luis de la Pica Flamenco Cultural Association, which was packed with people within the programming of the Jerez Festival.
