Farruquito & Quintet Flamenco opens the sixth edition of Flamenco in Soho

Other artists performing in the Malaga cycle include the flamenco singers Marina Heredia and Argentina, the Sevillian Manuel Lombo, who will offer a piano and voice show, and the La Lupi Flamenco Company with their latest dance proposal.

The dancer Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya, FarruquitoIt invites you to experience art without filters. jondo with his show Farruquito & Quintet Flamenco, which inaugurates Flamenco in Soho in this newly begun 2026 in the Soho CaixaBank TheatreMálaga. Thus, the sixth season of the cycle, the result of close collaboration between the theater and Green Cow Music with the aim of placing the flamenco –Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity– in its rightful place, it begins with one of the most outstanding figures of the genre, a direct heir of the Farruco lineage, on Friday, January 16 at 20 p.m.

After this recital, Flamenco In Soho, the festival will feature performances by other major figures such as the flamenco singer Marina Heredia, which will premiere at the CaixaBank Soho Theatre On freedom. After, The path of the gypsies (12 of March); Manuel Lombo, who will offer a piano and voice performance on March 27; Argentina, who will take to the stage with Flamenco by CantaoraMay 8th; and the La Lupi Flamenco Company, who will bring the cycle to a close on Saturday, May 9th with his final dance performance, The unpublished.

Farruquito & Quintet Flamenco is a show of canteA rhythm and dance that invites you to feel and let go, to listen to your heart. Conceived from honesty, the proposal is born as a gesture of dedication to an audience seeking a flamenco pure and human, without artifice, where emotion acts as the true guiding thread.

For sixty minutes, the stage is transformed into a living journey through canteThe rhythms, beats, and dances spring from the streets, the people, and the performers' own experiences. The repertoire includes seguiriya, a solo... cante through tangos, alegrías, guitar solo, soleá, and a festive closing.

Farruquito, an essential figure of flamenco A contemporary and heir to the lineage of Farruco, he thus proposes in Flamenco in Soho an intimate encounter with jondo More sincere: a dialogue between tradition and the present where every moment is unrepeatable.
